Description

The Carlisle FCP series brake is a spring applied, hydraulically released (SAHR), full circle disc brake designed for use on commercial truck transmissions. The brake utilizes a floating friction rotor with positive lining retraction to prevent drag. The fully sealed design incorporates shaft bearings. No adjustment is necessary to compensate for lining wear. The springs may also be manually ?caged? to release the brake when hydraulic pressure is not available. This brake can be adapted to a wide variety of equipment and industrial applications.
