Carlisle Industrial Brake & Friction is comprised of two divisions, each with an area of specialization, but reliant upon the other for expertise and technical support. We are uniquely positioned as a complete solution provider through our understanding of both the mechanical side of braking and the material capabilities of friction.

The Brake Products Group produces complete brake systems that extend from the foot pedal through hydraulic actuation to the brake. Our range of brake products includes service, park, emergency, full circle and hydrostatic motor brakes, as well as hydraulic valves, actuators and trailer brake actuators.

Carlisle has strengthened its leadership position in the off-highway braking market with its acquisition of the assets of ArvinMeritor, Inc.'s off-highway business located in York, SC and Cwmbran, South Wales, U.K. This acquisition will enable us to provide an even broader line of products and enhanced technical support to our key customers.
